International Design Team
Our team of international designers seamlessly communicates with our print artists to provide design inputs. We have an exceptionally skilled in-house Design & Artwork Department that translates complex design ideas into artworks.
Printing Expertise
We print complex designs in endless colors using a variety of printmaking techniques including Discharge, Procian, Pigment, Foil, Natural dyes, especially Indigos, Screen, Block Prints, and Khadi printing on varieties of fabrics including a wide range of cottons-cambrics, gauze, drill slub, rayon and cotton crepe, cotton voile, hopsacks, textured fabrics, moss crepe, yarn dyes, linen, wool, corduroy, velvet and heavy cottons, silks and satins.
Our supply chain is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure – rotary, flat bed, table, digital printing facilities as well as a myriad of special washes and indigo, and natural dyeing to create distinctive fabric finishes. We support traditional printing methods such as block and hand printing.

Manufacturing
We are constantly on the lookout for ways to produce clothing sustainably & reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing operations. Using PNG for boilers & DG, ETP, rain water harvesting, etc. and regularly conducting awareness programs to reduce our water & energy consumption. Many of our fabrics are sun dried on open terraces, using nature as a key component of our processing.

The Cornell Legacy
Cornell Overseas is a women-owned and woman-run Indian manufacturing division of April Cornell. April Cornell is a beloved international clothing and textile brand; making beautiful apparel, home furnishing & accessories for over 45 years. The company was started in 1975 by April Cornell, an artist who fell in love with the textile arts of India. Although her second generation, including 3 sons and 2 daughters in laws are now fully involved in the business, she still guides the company with her bold sense of style, design mind and unique understanding of the marketplace. Her hard work and eye for beauty have been instrumental in the company’s journey from an imports retail shop to a well-established international brand.
